I used to run a 5k three times a week.

This only stopped in July. Does anyone have any advice on how I could build back up to that? Running is such a stress reliever. I miss it!

Just start back up again. Run a mile 2-3 times a week and when that gets easy enough then add a bit more distance. Just jump back in . If you just quit then you can just start. It hasn't even been that long since you ran has it?

Why'd you stop? Are you injured?

I ran 3.5mi on June 19th (my 18th bday). I had a few lighter runs after that but nothing strenuous.

I had another bad ankle sprain and a bone bruise from rolling my ankle in a tennis match. I was in an aircast for ages. Doctor said if I roll it again it may be a surgical fix. So yeah.. injured. :(

Couch to 5k is a great schedule, imho. It's gotten me back up to speed a few times when I've stopped running for extended periods.

Oh wait, der-- you only stopped in July? You're probably fine to just start running now, right?

I feel way less in shape! Perhaps if I started partway through C25k?

Sounds like a good plan to me. No point starting at the beginning if you don't need to.
