First time here, going to lose 50lbs my way.

Recently came across My fitness pal and decided to give it a go. My weight started to shoot up about 3 years ago after completely tearing my ACL whist playing football, I'm now trying to lose around 50lbs, I'm a huge believer that people need to lose weight their own way and for me i'm just not into fad diets or smashing the gym every day I just find it incredibly tedious. Instead rightly or wrongly I'm aiming to lose weight by eating less, managing my calories and exercising more but doing it a way I enjoy, mainly team sports and leading a more active lifestyle. My knee injury has restricted what sports and exercise I've been able to do but recently discovered Korfball which through use of a knee brace I've been able to play without too many problems

You can do it! It’s hard when you have to adjust your routine around new limitations, I’ve been struggling with similar issues. This is a great place to do your own thing but still have support and tools. Welcome1
