Protein is king!

I’ve recently discovered that if I eat at least 20 grams of protein at each meal I have no desire to snack. I had been suspicious that my snacking was related to a deficiency of some sort. I recently read an article (MyFitnessPal blog) focused on a protein rich breakfast and decided to conduct an experiment. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the more protein I take in (especially breakfast) the longer I go between meals without feeling famished or depleted before I eat again.
Has anyone else had a similar epiphany? Any new suggestions?

That's really great. For me, a combo of protein and fat are very satiating. Add a small amount of carbs and I will not even think about food for hours.

I've had to rebalance my macros several times over the years I've been managing my weight, but protein has always been a key player for me. I always got a lot and recently upped it to see if it helped with cravings and it did!
