Well I workout in the mornings (Either run outside or weights in the basement) It's dark at that time anyway year round, so it makes no difference to me lol. It does suck though because I like to go riding bikes around the neighborhood with my son which we won't be able to do because it'll be dark by the time we get home2

Me too!!
I do have a window nearby but it shows me a lovely view of the roof of the building across the road.
I try to get out at lunch most days, but I'm often running errands so I'm in and out of buildings.
Therefore, when I come home in the evening, I either want to be outside or to park myself in "my spot" where I've got 180 degree views outside. I want as much natural outdoor light as possible!!

I woke up to my alarm yesterday morning as usual and was puttering around the house and then after about 45 minutes looked down at my Fitbit and was in for a surprise (it had automatically adjusted for the time change). I could have slept another hour!
Me, too. Here in Canada in the winter, sometimes just trying to go for a walk risks life and limb! I just turn on the TV, hop on the treadmill and git er dun!
This will be my plan...Pick a show and start at season one! Only watch it from the weight room.
Yup, currently doing this with The Good Wife. Thinking about Black List next. Previously did Iron Fist and Luke Cage.0 -

My view is of my across the street neighbor's yard. Was I ever delighted when he asked me for gardening help - I love to plant and now I can design my view
Working from home makes exercising outdoors at lunch more convenient. I don't have to worry about scaring coworkers when I come in from the woods, sweaty and muddy. But when I had office jobs I often walked at lunch time, or went to the gym. They had no problem with me taking long lunches and working late.0 -

One bright spot this winter is my office, which I use about half the time, will be mover to a window again. I had a window office for years and then do to some shuffling within the suite moving teams around I ended up interior, One across the hall is opening up before year end so it was offered to me. Kind of a pain to move again just a few months later, but I think I will survive.
I will definitely take off some time in Feb and head south. About 8 hours down I-95 gets me to where winter really isn't a thing; 10 hours gets to average days of 75 in Feb. A few days off, a few friends, some paddle boards and plenty of exposure to light and sun help a lot.1 -

My husband and I frequently go to Yuma AZ. We live about an hour into California. We've missed a couple of flights and movies because we either forgot about the time change, or thought we were one hour ahead instead of an hour behind lol1 -
I actually enjoy when the time changes. I love the morning hours for working out and getting things done. I get a lot more sleep because I go to bed earlier. The worst part for me is the seasonal depression cause winter sucks lol.0

I feel really lucky - our office is on a lake and we have floor to ceiling windows so lots of natural light. Plus there's a covered deck that run around the building so even in bad weather I can get out for a few minutes every so often.
I just hate adjusting to the time change. Wish I could explain to the cat that it's 3:30 a.m. and that is NOT the time you get fed.1 -
When I started cycling it was DLS time and still quite warm. I'd get home in plenty of time to get the bike out and hit the road.
Soon DLS finished and the weather started to cool and the prospect of getting outside and cycling in the cold night was less attractive to say the least. This is when I invested in an indoor (turbo) trainer for my bike and a subscription to a service called Zwift which is a virtual cycling environment. So during the darker, colder months I now pop my bike on the trainer, link it to Zwift and spend my evenings riding though London, Richmond, Innsbruck, New York or the make believe island of 'Watopia'.
I still manage to get out on the road of a weekend though1
