Hello !

My name is Michelle, I love lifting weights and Cardio and I eat heathy for the most part, except I love carbs. I have wondered why I have such a hard time losing weight , until I was diagnosed with PCO -Polycystic ovary syndrome-, which plays with the Hormones including Insulin and makes the cells sugar resistant. So,I can run and lift as much as I want but if I want to see changes I will need to cut carbs out of my diet. I am lucky my husband is a weight lifter and supports me in everything, but, I just love my bread. I live in Germany , so it makes things worse, the bread here is delicious and in the morning its wonderful with coffee. I have been able to cut down alittle . I find it hard to come up with recipes that dont include noodles or potatoes etc. Since I am studying and working I cant really find the time to look for those recipes or try them out.
Well anyway, thats why I joined this website. To get some Ideas how I can cut my carbs to a minimum and still have energy. I do not like diet pills and the only powder diet supplement I take is protein.
