Negative effects of eating surplus amounts of cabbage?

Currently, I am eating a head per day - 1000-1500 grams. This is split into 3/4 meals. Supposedly, vegetables are healthy, but are there any (hidden) negative effects that I am not aware off? Like, proper (negative) ones?
To clarify, I am a volume eater and trying to shed some weight - cabbage helps to stay satiated.

Assuming your digestive system is handling it fine and that isn't an issue, I think the main concern would be to ensure you're getting enough iodine. Iodine deficiency *combined* with a high intake of vegetables like cabbage (cruciferous vegetables) has been linked to thyroid problems. Getting enough iodine will protect against this.7

Man, if I ate that much cabbage, no one could stand to be around me because of gas. Hope your system handles it better.5

If that's the only vegetable you're eating I would be concerned that you are missing out on nutrients available in other vegetables that aren't present in cabbage. Otherwise, if it doesn't cause you any physical discomfort, go for it!3
