Help with calorie count for home cooked meal

The wife and I made a beef stew in the slow cooker yesterday. It was great, but I'm trying to figure out the best way of coming up with a total calorie count. I had what amounted to a cup and a half for my portion. How do I go about counting the calories of that? The ones already on mfp varied wildly in their estimates. So now what? Thanks

    Use the recipe builder

    Is that an app?

No, it's one of the site features. From the Food tab, click on "recipes" (Note: I'm on desktop. If you're using the phone app, it may be slightly different.)

if you are making from scratch i would use the recipe builder...now that its done and eaten - i would look at the various calorie counts and pick one that seems to be within the average of all of them

Thanks for the ideas. The recipe builder helped a lot as well as the nutritional builder.
