My middle name means silk in Spanish and voices in Farsi.1

I think it's odd when someone is called by their first and middle name OR their first name is 2 names.
Like bobbi rae, daisy mae, sally jo, betty anne, etc.2 -

My middle name is Paige. I'm not fond of it. I liked the middle name my dad picked out for me which was Mackenzie (my dad wanted to name me after Spuds Mackenzie...hahaha love you dad) but my mama said no.0

My dad had a field day with all of ours....miy 3 middle are 'Maria Dantina Sevarina'....my first name is 10 letters ....there's a reason I go by Al or Ali....😒0

My wife doesn't have a middle name. My middle name is my mothers maiden name.
And if you think 3 names are a lot, you should see in Latin America. It is normal to have two last names and two middle names is not uncommon either. Many people have 5 or more names.0 -

Always hated my middle name, I only use it (or the initial) when signing legal documents.
Adding, my oldest daughter is called by her middle name, not her first.
I'm also called by my middle name. Annoyingly, my first name is the same as my father's first name. The easiest way to differentiate on official documents (which insist on stating my first name), is to state our full names, or at least first name with middle initial before the last name.0 -

DIL got naming rights claimed for three grandkids.
1 Noah (biblical), Middle Name my DIL’s maiden name with Long list of consonants very Greek Name,
2 Athan (very Greek) I’m sure he will go through life saying it’s NOT Ethan or NOT Nathan, his middle name deceased grandfather Nicholas!
3 Georgia very Greek. And can’t remember her middle name but I KNOW It’s Greek!
Our three sons got unique names (1969, 1974, 1984)
Middle names oldest for my Dad.
Second son for me
Third son got Andrew b/c DW wanted some credit and her middle name is Ann.

I named son Garrett after Garrett Breedlove. Astronaut character played by Jack Nicholson. Great actor, great character and great movie Terms of Endearment, DW rolled with it.
