@katie1234
.....as I stated prior on that I did have liposuction. Remember, liposuction IS SURGERY, that means anesthesia and a surgeon. That means it can run several thousand on its own. If a "doctor" is offering lipo for significantly less RUN!!!!! Make sure that any cosmetic procedure is done by a licensed PLASTIC surgeon.
I’m single, and don’t have kids. I earn enough that I can afford the surgery without it putting my finances too far out of whack. It’ll mean skipping a big vacation this year is all, and I’m fine with that.
The consultant I’m going to is quoting €2,500+ which sounds about right from what I’ve heard. I’ve read his reviews on google and yelp and of course I’ll be making sure he’s fully qualified. I’m also going to ask my friend who is a dermatologist in a nearby hospital about him as the community is fairly small and she will probably know him/ know of him.
The price sounds about right. Just be sure that it covers post-op (some do, some don't) so you don't get a cost jump with additional appointments.
Also, the comments about the results being "lumpy", is very accurate. My "lumpyness" is almost gone, but it can take months to a year or more for that to go away. Lipo can be great, but it's not magic and takes time to fully heal before you see optimal results.
Best of luck.5 -

I had under 3lbs taken off my lower back, many years ago. It was a lot longer recovery than I was told. The garment is a pain in itself. The swelling was horrible and I swear if I eat to much sodium, it retains water. Other than that, it's fantastic. Lol Seriously though, if coolsculpting can do the same thing, get that. They told me I would have to gain 10% of my bodyweight to gain weight there again. It has never happened. I continued to work out and do my thing. It was more spot reduction for me. Go on the real self website. You'll get all of your questions answered. Good luck and let us know what you decide and how you do.0

It was out of proportion with my legs and upper body. And as I gained weight over the years pretty much all of it came back, but I have to admit better proportioned than before.
I was 6 weeks in a super tight pair of pants. I was black and blue and I was in pain and had a terrible time to get over the anaesthetic.
Was it worth it. At the time I though so, Now looking back Not so sure.
Thanks for this. If you were happy at the time I think you should try not to doubt yourself now. I think the surgery techniques have advanced now to the point where you don’t come out black and blue.
I have a consultation on Monday and a therapy appointment on Tuesday and I’m going to make the decision after both of those.
Not doubting myself, just the outcome9 -
