Gluten free & dairy free brownies??
Hey all!
I loooove brownies, especially when they're thick and gooey yummm
I am looking for a recipe that is gluten and dairy free. Doesn't need to be vegan, eggs are welcomed.
I have tried a few, mainly replacing normal flour with gluten free flour and butter with coconut oil, but they've always come out pretty dry (despite me baking them for half the recommended time)
I've been using Doves Farm gluten free flour, as it's the only one I've found.
If anyone has a good recipe please let me know! I'd love some chocolatey indulgence over the weekend Thank you!

Use GF oats. Enjoy Life makes GF DF chocolate chips, and I know there are a few other brands as well.3 -

I make these a few times a month and love them. I've started using gram flour (chickpea flour) instead of oats for a really smooth texture0 -
Thank you so much!!0

Just use oil instead of butter.0 -
I love these:

(Leave out the chocolate chips or substitute a dairy-free type.)
This recipe doesn't make a dense, chewy "traditional" brownie, it's more like a moist, rich cake. But it's a nice chocolatey treat! I cut mine into 16 squares (and use half the amount of chocolate chips suggested) so that they're under 100 calories each.0 -
Another vote for Katie’s brownies. Never dry.0

My go to brownies is Brownie mix with a can of black beans. Super moist. You don't drain the black beans. Put black beans in a blender and add to mix, bake as directed.1

I made the black bean brownies and they really are great! Moist and no hint of beanieness. Gave one to my daughter and she had no clue.
Regarding the optional substitutions, I used pure maple syrup, coconut oil, sugar, and Ghiardelli 60% cacao chips (which may have some dairy in them).
So nice to not have to use a rice flour mix or any other flour whatsoever. I like that the beans add some slow carb fiber.
