Can drinking black decaf coffee count as part of your water intake for the day?

Yes. Even caffeinated coffee counts .

Most any drink and plenty of foods contribute to hydration.

    ^ Yep.

Soda, milk, coffee (regular or decaf), tea, seltzer water, fruit juice, etc...they're all composed primarily of water and will be used by the body for hydration. As will the liquid contents of your food, but obviously that's more difficult to track/log.

Thank you very much. I don’t drink much water, but I love my black coffee. 😊
