Good afternoon;
As the title says my name is Terry. My online moniker has been a form of Adui for the past 20+ years, so I added that as well.
Just looking for a forum community to come get encouragement and support from while I once again try to lose the extra 60 pounds I carry around.
I tried this about 8 months ago, and flopped! I stuck to it for about a month, but really just stuck to recording what I was eating and drinking. Now, I am 210, Which may not sound like too much for a guy, but Im only 5 foot 5 tall. My idea weight is supposed to be 145. (I weighed about 140 when I left boot camp WAY back in 1987)
So far Ive been tracking my calories with Myfitnesspal, tracking my walks with Map my walk, and trying to eat more healthy foods and less junk. No real diet plan except to cut out the uneccessary junk and eat food that is good for me for a change. (Less pizza, candy, cake cookies etc; more salads lean meats and veggies.)
Ive only been at it this go around since Sunday 11/4/2018. I weigh in again on sunday. I'll let you know any progress.. (I know not to expect any real progress in a week but I still like to keep a weight record. It must be the accountant in me )
