What is a good app for accurate calories burned?

    For what? MFP is pretty good at calories at rest. Strava does a half decent job for cycling.

    There isn't one. MFP is, for me, as good as anything.

    You have been given a good method to calculate your calories for walking.
    What else are you doing?

    Yep, MFP has been pretty accurate for me too

    Ok when you click on exercise and exercise diary and it says daily total/goal my goal is 283. Is that what everyone is referring too?

    No, that's something else. If you click exercise, search for the activity/exercise you did, enter the duration you did it for... that's what we are talking about.

    Much the same way you add food that you've eaten, you add exercise that you've completed.
