Hello all. I am currently trying body recomp. I have 2 questions related to this
1) I have my "training day" calories at 1750 and my rest days as 1350. I understand we are supposed to eat our exercise calories back. My question is for the training day, do I need to actually eat more than the 1750, or is that number already taking into account the exercise calories I will eat back?
2) What is everyone's favorite device to track their heart rate? Currently I just use a smartwatch but I would like something more accurate to make sure I keep my heart rate up throughout my workouts

You have to eat your calories back, but it doesn't have to be on the same day. You can average then over a week if you find that easier.
I use a Garmin watch and whichever chest strap is most appropriate for what I'm doing. (There's one that works in the pool.)0
