Baker's eating healthy: The Struggle

Ok folks, so I am a hard core baker. I love it. It's my therapy. Flour and butter and mixing and the smell in the oven. It's heaven. Calorie filled, probably the way the road to hell smells, heaven.
So for me a major struggle has been being able to bake what I enjoy, without gaining twice my current weight on carbs alone.
With that being said there should be a cadio category for kneading dough. Cause... Holy smokes is that a work out.
I can't be the only one with this struggle.... Please. Let me know I'm not alone. ..... The carrot cake is calling my name

I’d suggest the minimalist baker. Lots of great recipes that have *healthier* options.1
