DIY preworkout question

Options
I just received my beta alanine, BCAA, and other ingredients to make my own pre-workout. Looks like quite a bit of powder. Is it going to dissolve when I mix it up?

BCAAs require quite some agitation to dissolve, prone to floating/salting out (also not worth using TBH)

    Beta alanine dissolves pretty easily
Citrulline maleate is hydroscopic (prone to clumping) but dissolves fairly easily (just keep in original container until extemporaneously mixing)

Usually a better idea to keep ingredients separate & mix extemporaneously. When done this way, you are still able to make formulation tweaks if need be & be more certain in doses vs. a potentially non-uniform bulk dry powder mix (I'm assuming you do not have a chemistry lab or pharma tools at your disposal)

Also, it would be better to replace BCAAs with something useful like caffeine.

Powdered caffeine is a pretty god-awful choice (I recall certain supplement manufacturers having backlash for selling such powders mainly from people OD'ing from not measuring accurately...taste is a bit off putting even for those with bitter palates). Easiest way to track caffeine consumption is just resorting to 200mg tablets & cutting if needed (way easier than trying to track intake via coffee, tea, etc. due to various portion sizes & caffeine concentration).

    Bleh...*hydroscopic should be hygroscopic
