Hi all, I’d like to make some new friends and I could definitely use the support of an online community where we’ve all got the same goals. Lose weight, get healthy and lead longer healthier lives.
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve got online and read or watched something that totally got me motivated to lose the weight only to give up after a few days or a few weeks.
I recently went to a funeral of a good kid that died way too young. He inspired me and my boyfriend to kick our butts into gear and finally lose this weight. I’ve got no excuses. And I’m gonna do it to prove to myself and everyone that ever doubted I could that, heck yeah I freaking did it!
So far I’ve been on track for three weeks now. I’ve dropped 10 lbs from my highest weight. I’ve gone to the gym at least 3-4 times a week. I’ve used the stairs at work instead of the elevators. I’ve managed to stay under my calorie intake goals (for the most part save the work pot luck days). I’m proud of myself and I’m starting to see change. I can do this, and I will do it!
