I have been exercising, watching what I eat and portion control. I work in a healthcare setting where I don’t sit much and at the end of the day my Apple Watch says I have burn over 500 calories working. I have actually gained weight instead of losing it. I understand that muscle weighs more than fat but I don’t think I would have jumped up the scale 7lbs in the past week. Needs some tips or answers what I could be doing wrong

Do you keep a food diary? Do you use a food scale?
You didn’t gain 7 lbs I a week. But watching what you eat likely isn’t specific enough to assure that you’re consistently in a calorie deficit.
Calorie counting works but there is a significant learning curve. Keep working and be patient.0
