So I have been on my weight loss journey for almost a month, I go in for my weigh in on wed and I am nervous because my body hates me lol I started yesterday so my question is how much would I gain during the 7 days of hell, I can feel that I have lost weight but dont want to be to disappointed if I have not lost as much as I think or hope I should!! Thanks for any help I can get

I usually gain a pound or two overnight, hold on for a few days, and then see it whoosh off again plus some around CD7 or 8. Everyone is different though. I finding weighing daily and recording it in an app (Libra or Happy Scale) takes the mystery out of the fluctuations rather than only having a couple of data points per month.3

I usually gain 2-3 pounds a couple days before, and it comes right back off afterwards.
Good luck on your weigh-in!1 -
I typically gain 3 - 4 lbs (water weight) around ovulation. I lose about half of that a couple days before I start my period and then usually have another “woosh” weight loss at the end of my period.
Everyone’s body is different. If you really want to know how your body responds to your cycle then you should weigh daily and use an app like Happy Scale (Apple) or Libra (Android) to track the trends in your weight.
Weighing once a month or even once a week doesn’t give you enough data to learn anything about your weight fluctuations.1 -
Thanks guys ❤0
