Hello, I am currently 6st and I need to gain a stone or maybe more. Any tips? I have started running every morning to build muscle on my legs.

eat in a calorie surplus, lift heavy stuff following a progressive programme.

running wont really help you gain muscle, unless you're doing a lot of hill work?3 -

Running will defeat your purpose on the first count and won't help on the second.
Start with food; you won't build much muscle if you don't have enough fuel to build the muscles.0 -

Strength training is farrrr better for this goal. And eat in a caloric surplus. Not being able to gain weight is just an excuse for under eaters3 -

Running to gain weight? Lift heavy and eat a calorie surplus. Are you a male or female? Am a female and am gaining weight currently, I do butt exercises at home while eating a calorie surplus. Go to YouTube and look for butt exercises you can do while you eat more. You will see results. I don't lift anything but I do my exercises using only my body and am seeing results.0
