Hi I'm new to MFP, my name is Sara and yes the picture is appropriate. It has taken me 20 months to lose 4 stones on my own so I decided to join a group in the faint hope that others will encourage me to do better.
I have difficulty getting enough exercise due to various medical conditions (fibromyalgia, arthritis of spine, bulging disc, and neuropathy in my hands & feet which is now spreading up my legs). I have recently found out that the neuropathy is due to me having type 2 diabetes so thats another to add to the list. I also have multiple allergies so I am quite good at avoiding foods that are bad for me.
I seem to have been on a downward spiral the less exercise I do the harder it becomes the more I weigh but I am determined not to let this beat me and I AM going to turn that spiral upside down.
I would be happy for anybody to add me as a friend so we can support each other, or feel free to bully me when ever its necessary.

Hi Sara,
I just sent you a friend request. It sounds like you are very determined despite the health issues you face; that is very inspiring to me. Keep it up!!

Hi Sara! Welcome to MFP and well done on the weight you have lost so far!
I am sorry to hear of your health problems, hopefully some of them will be helped a bit as you lose more weight, I know about the disc problems, had those myself, but the other problems you have are a totally different matter.
All the very best in your weight loss.
Change your screenname you are anything but Dumbo - you're bright and positive!!! - but of course, it's totally up to you :flowerforyou:0
