Feel totally out of control!

Hello, I'm 40 and need to lose 15-20 lbs. I was doing pretty well until Monday of Thanksgiving week, when I completely gave up because, well, there was a holiday coming up 4 days later. I have been eating everything in sight ever since. I feel completely out of control and am having a hard time motivating myself to get back on track and head back to the gym. I have a beach vacation in December looming over my head, so I really need to get on this ASAP!!!! Motivation/accountability buddies would be appreciated!

that is what i did last year, got the flu and when I got better ate everything in sight and could not get back on track. I gained 25 lbs, so depressing. Now I make myself weigh every day, took me 4 months to get that weight back off but I did it.1

We have all been there. Take a deep breath. A few more deep breaths. Remember why you want to focus. Write down all the benefits. Go for a walk and think it through.2

Don't look back! Just start with the new day and begin again. That eating spell was only a blip. Your determination to change has already outlived it.3
