Can someone help me on how to create and use recipes correctly? I seem to be having serving issues, The thing that messes me up is how each ingredient asks for servings when really i want to add it all up and divide the finished project into servings. Is there a way?

I weigh the finished product in grams and use that as the number of servings. Then, 1 gram will = 1 serving.

Editing to add more info: I usually enter the raw weight of each ingredient. Then weigh the cooked product. So, a pot of chili that weighs 1550g will have 1150 servings at one gram each. The you can just log in your diary the amount that you serve yourself in grams.

Are you using the recipe builder?

I don't know if you're using the app or the desktop version of mfp, but the link for the desktop recipe builder is:

    https://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe_parser

Input the totals of your ingredients, list how many servings there are, and oui la! Recipe done.
