Insanity Upper Body Weight Training

So I saw that this video was included along with all of the other insanity videos, but isn't included in the training regimen. I've watched about half of it and it looks legit, I think I'll try it out tomorrow, but my question is this: why is it there? Did I miss some memo that said "hey if you want to be a badass do this video 3 times a week" or what? Am I supposed to use it in conjunction with certain insanity videos or what?
