I'm also 5'3". I'm on about 1570/day, and am still snacking in between meals and generally staying in a deficit (though only in second week of tracking). I don't find myself getting too hungry, and feel like this is a pretty reasonable number for me (only looking to lose 12-15 lbs total). Just have to be conscious about portions, because I tend to overdo it without thinking. ETA: Not sure how it's going re: loss yet since it's still early.2
