I have lost 25 pounds in the last 10 weeks sticking with 1200 cals a day and not much exercise. Today, I weighed and I have gone up 1.2 pounds. Is this normal? Nothing has changed. Thank you!

Yup! I fluctuate normally a couple of pounds from day to day. The important thing is the overall trend, not a specific weight per day. You are not actually adding a pound of fat, but rather a pound of water that can be gone easily.

It is. In some cases, it is normal to put on up to 8 lbs overnight! It is all water retention. Most of the time, it depends on on how much sodium you consumed the night before.

    Yup.
For me it depends on salt intake. I've gained 4 pounds over night and lost it all by the next morning.
Gained 10 pounds in a 1 week family vacation due to increased salt and sugar intake. Lost it all in a couple days after getting home.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Now I’m wondering if blood sugars can go up when losing weight? Mine is normally about 5 but when I did it last night(first time in months) it was 8.6! I’ve never had a problem with diabetes or anything. I just decided to check mine while I was checking a patient at work
