In the last couple months the big change I have made after finding my weight was slowly creeping up from a low of 77kg to 86kg over a 5 year period was recently trying fasting. I have always been a big breakfast person. Instead I now try, it not always successful in not eating between 8pm and 11am, having a late breakfast at work and home. This over a couple months has brought me down to almost 82kg, my goal being 80kg to maintain. I have been surprised in the last thee weeks due to a major house shift and work pressures my usual physical routine has been maintained, just my fasting and I haven’t put weight on. Surprisingly I feel better with a late breakfast. So there definitely seems to be merit in the fasting approach.
