There is a minimum serving size and a calorie variance allowance in labelling.

.37g in fact works out to about 3 calories, which is within the allowable error amount. That's why you have to be careful with labels and with using correct entries from the MFP database.

Anything under 5 can count as zero, which really means 6 since they are allowed to be 20% off.

They can still be a good way to use a smaller amount of oil: Put the spray can on your food scale. Tare (zero) it. Spray the amount of oil you want. Put the can back on the scale. The negative number is how many grams of olive oil you used. Log it as olive oil in grams.

If you like spray olive oil, you can buy a mister you fill yourself. I'll admit that I've had trouble with those gumming up and needing to be replaced over time, but it's an option.

The serving size is 1/3 of a second spray. I use about 2 seconds spray to get a decent coat on a medium pan. I have found each second is about 1 gram, so 9 calories.

They get away with saying 0 calories because the serving size is stupidly small.
