I'm so sorry for your loss.
What do you mean by "i'm considering starting over again"? How is that different from just getting back to the healthy habits you were practicing? It's only been 2 weeks, people take 2 week breaks from their plans all the time.
There is nothing wrong with baby steps, or with starting with stuff that will easily make you feel better.
Try just taking walks for a couple of weeks. In addition to getting you moving again, it can really help with frame of mind, especially if you can get outside.
It's hard to recommend foods since I don't know what you would consider "healthy". But when in doubt, I'd suggest loading up on fruits and veggies, that's what I always do when I'm looking to improve my meals. Something else I do is google "quick healthy meals", usually the blogs and sites that come up remind me of all the stuff I already love to eat but have let slide.
Hang in there, and take care of yourself, but please also be kind and patient with yourself too :flowerforyou:3 -

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. As a caregiver myself, I know how stressful it can get and like you, I also struggle with stress eating. This is a difficult time you are going through right now, so be kind and gentle with yourself. Just take it one day, one step at a time. Keep exercising every day, even if you're just walking around the block or doing YouTube yoga videos in your living room. Just do something to keep yourself moving. Exercise will help ease the stress, which in turn helps alleviate the stress eating.
As for food, just do the best you can. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself and move forward. Get back on track the next meal. Try to get in as much veggies and fruit as you can, and of course protein. I recommend spaghetti squash- all the comfort of pasta without actually eating pasta. I know how you feel, as I got off course a while back too. When that happens, I go back to the foods that turned me onto healthy eating in the first place- mine was a fresh salad from the supermarket with grilled chicken, cranberries, gorgonzola and walnuts. Delicious!
Most of all, be gentle and kind to yourself. This is a difficult time, allow yourself to process and heal. *big hugs!* It'll all be okay.0
