Aside from MFP, what tools do you use in your weight loss or weight gain or maintenance journey? Please post photos if you have them.

This is one of my favorite tools. It measures in a variety of calculations, so you don't really have to try and figure it out. Plus, it gets most of whatever you're using out easier and more exact than trying to scoop something out.

They're reasonably priced on ebay, too!

Could you share a little about your scale? Maybe someone is looking for one.

Food scale. Learned a long time ago (thanks MFP community!) that measuring cups were not accurate and not useful unless I was measuring liquid.

From the top of my head these are the tools that have worked for me during almost nine years of maintenance. Sorry, I don't do pictures ;)

My bathroom scale, my clothes, sometimes the kitchen/food scale, measuring cups, occasionally the measuring tape (when I remember which is not too often). My love for exercise, control and awareness of food portions and calories counts.

My food scale is by far the most useful tool I have. It's electronic, has a "Tare" function (allows you to zero out the weight of a bowl, and then zero again as adding each new ingredient) and a "units" function (allows switching back and forth between grams and ounces.

Thats what I use also. A hometic. I love the TARE feature!

It's a Tanita.. it works. It has a bodyfat function but it's not very accurate.

Oh and it has a pretty loud beep when you use it so everyone in the house knows when you are weighing yourself :D

Ha! Mine beeps too, and I haven't been able to figure out how to make it stop, so my husband knows when I step on the scale every morning.

Food Scale -For accuracy with my food log and portion sizes. There is no second guessing if my log is right when I use it regularly along with making sure I am picking the accurate entries from the database.
Fitbit -To help me adjust my intake based on my activity and to help me stay active. It's a constitent reminder that I need to get up and move.
Weight Trend App/Website - To see what is actually happening with my weight beyond the noise (day to day fluctuations).
Various workout related items - So I can workout from home when I don't have access to a gym. I have dumbbells ranging from 5-25lbs, a large collection of fitness DVDs, resistance loops, core sliders, etc.
