Hey all I need some meal ideas for someone with recent dietary restrictions.... 😳hypothyroidism, allergic to dairy, and gluten. Help 🤗

    here is a really good article...about 3/4 of the way down it lists foods that will be beneficial. Additionally as far as actual meals, try hearty soups made with fresh veggies and lean meats. I use dry soup mixes and add tomatoes, onions, celery and carrots as well as some ground turkey.

    I also make chili but not traditional style. I use ground turkey or extra lean ground beef, celery, sweet onion, fresh garlic, tomatoes, a cup of salsa, tomato paste, chopped red and orange bell peppers and then I add chick peas (garbanzo beans) and pinto beans. The chili is very healthy and contains loads of vitamins minerals protein and fiber without a lot of carbs or fat per serving. Sometimes I throw in some cooked, chopped back bacon (because it's very lean) for some added flavor and extra protein.

    Thank you Dilvish - great article! I'm new to MFP and so far I can see that the hypothyroid community will be a big source of support.
