Hello everyone, my name is Chris and I am a 36 year old high school health teacher from Maryland. I got to using this app for a project in class for students to log their foods for a week. Have found this app to really beneficial even for me with a long history of calorie counting and weight loss. Over the course of the last 15 years or so i have lost over 100 lbs. Originally started in college when i was playing football to change positions and then later again once my career was over and realized there was no since in carrying the extra weight. I've had my ups and downs for sure and yo-yo dieted for years. 2 years ago I committed myself to exercise and it has change my life. I work out nearly every day rotating cardio and lifting and I found a love it and never thought i would. Huge fan of the apple watch as well and combining that with MFP has really got me going toward my next goal of losing about 5% more body fat.

Anyways, i enjoy forums and looking forward to keeping up with things around here.

    Welcome, and thank you for educating our youth. I've used this app off and on for a few years. Life always seems to step in and I get side tracked. I'm trying to not do that this time.
