Support needed π

Hi everyone π Iβm currently having therapy for BED after successfully loosing 5 stone on the Cambridge weight plan 9 years ago and maintaining using weight watchers. I went from 14st 9lb to 9st 6lb. For the past two years I have struggled massively with my mental health which had led to me finding BED as a way of control. I have gained 2 stone and feel so deflated. I started going to the gym to do mostly weight and resistance training in July which has helped with my mental health but my nutrition is still suffering. I try to stick to 1500 calories per day (which is achievable) but after a few days I just binge on sugary foods and then loose motivation. I went back to the gym yesterday after a week off and felt so big and heavy that itβs knocked my confidence and I feel like I donβt want to go back. Any suggestions/ support welcome βΉοΈ

Just one day at a time. The thing about the gym is that if you keep going, it can really build your confidence. Find something you enjoy and set some fitness goals. I have hills I want to be able to bike up, yoga poses I want to do, etc.1
