Hey guys, Kevin from Arkansas here. 33M, 218lbs, 5'9", but some muscle (and fat). My wife and I went through a lot of trauma years ago with our son, and long story short, it sent me on a downward spiral with my health. My heaviest was 241, and I've done a good job of staying below that for a few years now. But I WANT MORE!
I'm probably the king of yo-yo diets/ lifting routines. I've done James Grage REWIRED twice, Kris Gethin Daily Trainers, and Keto last year where I lost 43lbs, gained 20 back, and now have a ton of smaller sized clothes waiting to be loved again! I'm an avid father, husband, and diet overthinker, but recently re-dedicated to a 5am cardio/lifting routine 4x weekly. I'm pretty synonymous with freaking out when I gain weight on a routine that includes lifting (I'm an analyst, so it's what I do!), stepping on the scale too often, and trying to make knee jerk changes.
I say all that light-heartedly, because my best success throughout my journey has been from something exactly like what I'm doing now. So I'm pumped (literally?). Just gotta stick to the plan long term, this is a turtle race.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic day, stay positive my friends!
