I'm Paul 34 and a truck driver from Yorkshire. I recently had a short stint in hospital due to a fatty liver amongst other things and was told I needed to lose weight to help myself. The few days I spent in hospital lost me over a stone in weight and I'm determined to use that massive starting point to keep going and get myself to a healthier weight. Due to my job being mostly sitting I welcome any tips on easy short burst exercises that can be done while on break or offloading etc.

I responded to this post because your other one came across as a bit whiney to be honest. (You wanted your butt kicked so I just did it ) Ah the good old british sense of humour.
Losing weight is all about how many calories you eat. How many calories has MFP given you after you entered your stats?
This is a great place but you need to be patient and consistant. It is not going to be easy counting calories while out on the road but it can be done. You will need to food prep and make up healthy meals to take with you.
Do you come home every evening or stay out with your rig? (my son stays out four nights a week)
Also if you buy your food out you will need to identify the lower calorie options. It is all about making good choices.
Exercise is for fitness and can earn you a few more calories. You can google exercises for truckers that brings up a load of websites with suggestions. But the simplest is walking fast laps around the truck when you are stopped. You could get a pedometer and try and hit a steps goal during the day.
Anyway I will send you friend request (because you don't have any apparently lol) and because you are in the UK us brits should stick together.
