Help my inches!

Hello everyone, hope everyone is kicking *kitten*!!

My question is- how can I lose more inches. My stomach at the widest part ( at the belly button) was 44' I'm now at 41' I've lost 24pounds but not a lot of inches. I still have 25+ pounds to go but I want to get some more inches off now. I know you can't pick a spot and lose only from there but if anyone has some tips for me that would be awesome. Thank you!

Perhaps you just hold most of your weight in your tummy area? Keep doing what you're doing, I'm sure once you get closer to your goal you'll see the inches melt off if thats where you keep most of your weight. If you want to speed up the process I'd suggest doing HIIT workouts which burn fat. That would definitely help you with your goal if nothing else.

You can't spot reduce or "tone" certain parts of our bodies, everyone holds weight in different parts of thier bodies, genetically women tend to carry their weight on their thighs and stomach, men stomach and chest etc. Only way to reduce the inches off your stomach carry onto your goal weigh, eventually your body will take some fat away from your stomach thus decreasing the size.

However you may get to the point of your goal weight where you are still not happy with the size of your stomach, there is a term that people use called skinny fat. This is where you have a healthy weight but your body fat percentage is not the best. The best way to avoid skinny fat, is to incorperate lifting into your routine if possible. This will ensure that a higher percentage of the weight you loose will be from fat and not muscle mass, so when you get down to your goal weight, instead of having a bf% of 25% you might have 18% and this will be noticable in the inches lost.
  • Thank you. I do carry all my weight in my stomach. I'm going to start lifting when I get back home in November. I hopfully ill see the inches go when I lose the rest of my weight.
  • Have you ever tried taking a weight loss supplement?
