Round Two: Determined Not To Gain It Back

Hello! So my real love affair is with fitness, not nutrition. I love EVERYTHING about weight lifting but I'm cursed with the body of an 80 year old (sorry to hate on you grandma!) that's only been around for twenty.

Last year at the age of 19 I decided it was finally time to look my best after my first year of college. I had an OK body until I went into college, where I gained about ten pounds and realized I wasn't in shape and wasn't thin anymore, and my nutrition was AWFUL.

I started weight lifting everyday for an hour and eating strides better. I lost a few pounds, many inches and looked great for the first time in a few years. But then I dislocated my knee cap, quit working out and started eating crap again. Not only did I gain back that weight but an additional twenty pounds.

This time I'm determined to do it right; even though I'm thirty pounds heavier than last time. Nice and slow. With an emphasis on nutrition. And exercise when I can manage. I just don't have the body of a twenty year old unfortunately so the kind of weight lifting I'd like to be doing isn't an option.

Looking for lots of friends! Everyone's welcome! I know that a community creates support and accountability.

Welcome and thanks for sharing! Your story sounds close to mine, minus that dislocated knee! I go good for awhile, then sometime something happens and I just fall off the bandwagon. This is my third time here! and I am 15 pounds heavier then last time! Good luck! Add me and Ill make sure to shoot you a message if it says you haven't logged in for a week! =)

Feel free to add me! I'm also in love with fitness (and trying my best on the nutrition side of things).
