I weighed myself 4 weeks ago and just hated the size i was getting, tried all types of diets and nothing worked till I was told to do the soup diet. I didn't like the idea of it but wow it really does work. I run for 25 mins each night and do a park run every sat for 3 miles. What is everyone else doing which works so I could nick some of your ideas.
Cheers everyone

I have to lose about 80 kg (175 pounds) and over the years I have tried lots and lots of "diets" - unfortunately they tend to offer short term solutions and with that amount of weight I have to lose that just doesn't work for me. I joined MFP 250 days ago and slowly changed (and am still changing) to a healthier life style which includes basic exercise and a meal plan suggested by MFP which I can live on long term. Initially I couldn't walk much, by now I am up and about 2 hours at a time. I have slowly adjusted my daily macros to my daily needs and long term I am comfortable with that. So far I have lost over 25 kg, (55 pounds) which might sound slow compared to other results but I need to be able to stick to this new life style and meal plan for long term results. By now I wonder if there is a special, unique diet or meal plan for every single overweight / obese / morbidly obese person out there?7
