2 weeks ago I almost died. My super unhealthy eating habits finally did me in. This unhealthy eating led to an attack of diverticulosis which in turn led to Level 3 hemorrhage. I’m sure gaining roughly 60 lbs over the preceding 20 months didn’t help either. Facing a lifestyle change isn’t exactly what Inasked for at the age of 53 but I’VE GOT THIS!!!
One day at a time One lb at a time is hownIbwill do this. My ultimate goal is to get to 200 lbs. My Foal for the rest of December is to get to 290 libs. I would love to have some Motivational/Reminder Kick in the butt! It’s not the next 3 weeks I’m worried about...it’s the month or so from now! Encouragement is always Welcomed!!!!

You can do this. Just think it's for your health. Set small goals that you can easily attain. It's what helped me the most I think0

Add me if you want. I’ve lost 100lbs and been maintaining for years. It’s doable.0

You can go it. Many on here, including me, have. Personally I’ve observed that people who lose for health are more committed and more consistent than those doing it primarily for looks. Read through success and you’ll find lots of inspiration.0

read the five second rule... or learn about it on youtube. Motivation won't always be there..don't wait to want or feel like it.. just do it or you never will.0

Do not rely on motivation, because if you "don't feel like it" then motivation will never be there.
Rely on discipline instead.
Also I agree with the above poster read the 5 second rule by Mel Robbins. It seriously got me approaching my goals in a different way.
So when I'm not motivated im still doing what I've got to do!
You can do this! You really can.
Also check out the success stories! That there is the evidence that it can be done!1
