Stagger...limp...collapse

Hi! I have been lurking on these boards for a while. As the whole of Vancouver takes to the streets to practice running for the annual 10k run to be held in April, I have started trying to take part in the C25K program yet again. As predictable as Christmas or the imminent start of a New Year, it is THE time of year for me to dust off my YMCA membership card, pull on my baggy shorts and to hit that treadmill where it hurts. This time it will be different and the fat will just melt away from my non-alcoholic beer belly; I am determined to take part in this race for my first time. This is MY year I have decided! Thank you, from an enthusiastic mother, wife, worker and (hopefully|) your friend.

    You can do it! And omg, when I think of Vancouver and shorts with running, that intimidates me lol. I'm from Georgia and not too fond of the cold but you go girl! Give it your best and the fat will melt off. Good luck to you.
