Last week I had a perfectly reasonable restaurant meal and gained two pounds, which took me the rest of the week to lose again. With one day 100 over my calorie goal and the rest under, I maintained for the week.
A new med was causing constipation. When I get constipated, it puts too much stress on my degenerative discs and I get back pain. I managed a bit of walking and the gentlest yoga sessions ever, but really had to take it easy for a few days. No pain now, but I can barely touch my toes; it set me back a month on my stretching.
Yesterday, out of curiosity, I weighed myself before and after pooping. I gained a half pound by pooping. My husband refused to award me a Nobel prize in physics on the spot.
Today I decided to try to bike up the hill outside of my house. Until I can make it up these hills, I have to put my bike in the car in order to be able to use it, so every once in awhile, I check to see if I can make it up the hill yet. However, today is cooler than usual, so panting in the cold sparked an asthma attack. I hadn't even opened the inhaler I was prescribed in January, my asthma is so well controlled. But today I need my inhaler. And a nap.
Through thick and thin, stick with the plan, but dang it sucks to have a week like this!

Oh no. Sorry to hear about all the health issues all at the same time. Guess there might be a bright side: get them all over with at once and get back to feeling well again.
Start slowly back on the stretching. Very important. Hopefully the back pain won't come back and I bet at some point you'll conquer those hills! You sound determined and it will pay off.1
