Just a week so far but down 5 pounds, probably a lot of water but going the right direction.

I think of a ketchup bottle that hasn't been used in a while. Often when you go to use it the first thing that comes out of the bottle is a bunch of tomato-y liquid. But you have to get that liquid out first; the good stuff comes after.
Same thing with weight loss; if you're just starting out the first progress is quick, but it's mostly water. The stuff you really want to lose (fat) comes after--if you stick with it.0
