I got on the scale and it said I gained 3 pounds because it’s my time of the month? Any other ladies experience this? How long til it goes back to normal?

<--- Not a lady but been around enough to know that this is completely normal. Increased water retention is normal and a few pounds on the scale is common. Many people here do not weigh themselves around TOM because of this. It usually takes a couple of days to a week afterwards to get back to normal.2

I might try weighing again this next weekend. I got a little frustrated about it this morning. Thanks for the response. I’m glad it’s a normal thing.0

Completely normal. I do keep weighing myself during that time because it gives valuable insight into my fluctuations. With me, it can last anywhere from 3 to 8 days before it whooshes off, usually taking a little more with it and giving me my lowest weight (usually for the month).3
