Sushi ordering- Sashimi question

ordering sushi later today and plan on getting Sashimi.

Question is how do you weigh this or measure this easily? Old school piece by piece or some other way i dont know.

1 ounce is a common size reference, but I would expect that to decrease at an all-you-can-eat buffet, where I have seen some disappointing slivers of fish.
