Vertical sleeve gastrectomy pre-op

I am working on losing weight prior to surgery. My surgery date is January 24 2019. I'm here hoping to build a extended support system. Any advice/tips will be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I had gastric bypass on September 20th. All I can say is prepare right now for how you are going to be eating after surgery. I had a full year of preop requirements and it is still a little bit of shock. Join support groups on Facebook, such as baritastic social and bariatric weight loss family (not for profit). They will truly understand your struggle and be the biggest supporters you could ask for, especially bwlf. You can add me to your friends if you like. I had my sleeve surgery in August 2017.

It has been the best decision I’ve ever made.

The hardest thing I found straight after surgery was drinking enough water, you can only take a sip at a time.
