What to eat on my day off

I am a firm believer in logging everything I eat and to make it easy for myself I eat the same things day in and day out. The results have been great and it’s made it easy to log in to MFP almost every day for a year now. I can say I have only missed a day or two logging foods at the most. I think it’s time for me to take a day off from counting calories and macros and eat what I want. I am thinking a cheese pizza would be great and maybe a hot fudge sundae. What would you eat on your off day. Although I may take a day off once in awhile I believe it’s necessary and I won’t feel bad about it and most importantly I won’t let it derail me. If you find you have an off day don’t let it derail you or let it be an excuse to give up.

So you haven't had pizza for a year? That's really impressive

Personally I cannot plan a special food or meal for a day off because I eat whatever I want, in moderation, every day. That doesn't mean that I live on pop tarts, but I could squeeze one in every day if I wanted to.

Hope you enjoy your day off.

A day off is an off day. I prefer to think of logging as a habit, rather than a chore. It is just as important to my health as flossing and brushing.

You may take the day off logging but your body doesn't. Personally I'd fit much more variety into my everyday diet rather than get to the point where I feel I need a day off.

I'll be having 3 courses and prosecco from this menu... the brownettone is a definite... I'll try and log it... or maybe just put a 2000 cal quick add and not worry about it!

its not a day off, its just a day.

you're right though OP about not letting one day of over eating derail you.
