A little over a year and two months ago I embarked on a journey that has become so much more than weight loss. I don’t have my old pics right now because my old phone broke. But at 237ish lbs, I was not the healthiest version of me. My hairstyle wasn’t me, nor was my style of dress. It’s harder to dress cute when you’re heavy. I was weighed down with so much disappointment from who I had allowed myself to become. Not disappointed in my character, I shined there. However my physical body was hurting. Since losing a little over 60lbs to date, I am regaining in new and fresh ways who I really am. It isn’t easy some days. I had to take a little time to simply maintainmy weight because I grew weary of the good fight and having such a demanding life. However, I never quit! Quitting would’ve been quitting on myself forever and I simply can’t stop believing in what I can accomplish and become. The holidays have found me back in my routine of weight loss. I don’t want to be in the 170’s forever; I know I can lose more. You know what? So can you! Track those meals. Count, count, count those calories. Pregame with meal planning and prepping. When you don’t feel like it, allow how bad you have felt at your heaviest to be a motivator to just get up and do what needs to be done. I believe in you!!
