Here I am again!

Story of my life, yoyo dieter. I feel best when I am low carb, but can't seem to stay high fat. Maybe it's a psychological thing. Now during the holidays, I am feeling plump as ever.
Any suggestions?

    I'm pretty new to all this so I'm not an expert. I've done the yoyo thing in the past and what was missing for me was the realization that I have to commit to a lifestyle change. I KNEW that I had too, but never was able to commit to it. Tracking on here, getting some results and then letting those results encourage me to start exercises keeps me going.

    The little things I do now on a daily basis are: I will eat more veggies, I eat slower, I give time for my stomach to tell my brain that it's full instead of just eating everything that is on my plate.

    Once in a while I get down and feel like splurging on something, I will usually have 4-5 Chocolate Covered Almonds and drink a glass of water when that happens and then wait to see if the craving goes away. It usually does.
