Anyone experienced any paranormal activities in their home? People getting possessed? Ouija board experience?

Anyone whilst sleeping felt a pressure on their chest as though something is sitting on your chest? Some call it, sleep paralysis. Although it's more than that..

I've had some strange experiences, but if 3 ghosts visit me tonight, I'm moving.

I used to get sleep paralysis a lot. Now not so often. At the time I was living in a 130 year old home, that was used as a care facility for the ill. Many people died in the home, weird stuff happened while I was there, and I was always sick. When I moved, the weird stuff stopped, the sleep paralysis became a quarterly event as opposed to a weekly and my health greatly improved.

If I recall, it was also a period of your life when you were eating a lot of Mexican food

    Too many tacos.

An all too common occurrence in boarding school. Teenage girls dabble in matters Ouija when bored & are experimenting with faith , much like children who are latch-key in surburbia. I remember being annoyed as the junior sacristan, forever being asked by the Director of boarding to walk through, remove their Ouija/voodoo dolls etc, pray over the space and pray with the girls who'd been spooked by their stupidity. Being awoken at an unGodly hour in the oldest part of the school's property - junior boarding section, with red night lights at two ends of long dark corridors, doors opening and shutting without aid, but for isolated gusts of wind ... Added to the mysticism.

Their antics reminded me of a movie, Ayers Rock - Uluru in the 80s based on a true story. It featured an all girls boarding school touring the infamous rock, whereupon girls started disappearing on the rock, within minutes of arriving, with just the one item remaining as a reminder of the girl being there.

I'm into paranormal and mysticism. Just starting to ghost hunt for fun and to see what happens. I'd stay away from Ouija boards because it's not a game. I'm also claircognizant with heightened gifts of seeing synchronicities. Welcome to my world! No possessions yet and hopefully never.

Nice. Ive seen ghost hunting in YouTube. Doing the midnight challenge to Staying over at haunted places. I remember one guy passed out on top of a grave. He woke up not knowing what happened. He went to the hospital for a check up.

Ha, yeah I don't doubt it. All sorts of things can happen from what I've heard. Anything from dark feelings to sudden whisps of cool air going passed you, orbs too. There's a society in my town that I'm joining after New Years. One visit is to The Slaughter House. I use to work in hospice so a lot of experiences.

Yea. Slaughter House is scary. Some paranormal activities caught on cam. Kitchen doors opening, stuff flying out, living room chair moving, orbs etc.

Feb 02, 2003 (I was 41) I was leaving for work in my car. As I rolled to the end of my driveway, my cousin Mike, very abruptly say, "put your seatbelts on *kitten*". The problem is, my cousin Mike was killed in a car accident in 1973. He was 3 years older than I and my idol...
I put the seatbelts on, drove out of my driveway and then 2/10ths of a mile down my own road I was hit head on by a teenage that lost control of her car... I'm not religious nor superstitious but now I always listen to the voices in my head.

Damn. Constant voices must drive you mad. It can mentally break you.

Great story. Glad you were open enough to listen to it.

I had a similar experience about 25 years ago. I was going to a party. I was bringing the party supplies. I was on a street to where I had to turn left or right to get to party. Out of nowhere was this loud, man's voice that said "Left". I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I was a lone. I sat there a minute, stunned. I decided to go right. Going right got me a few nights in jail.

I don't believe in Ouiji boards or ghosts. But these are some things that have happened to me:

Years ago when my first FIL died, we went back to the house. My MIL told my husband (her son) to sit at the head of the table in "Pops" seat. Just as she said that, the lights dimmed and came back on.

My uncle had been an antique and art dealer and didn't like strange people in his house. The day after he died, I flew to his house. I brought in some stuff though the garage, but put some other stuff on the rear of his car. The door to the house was open, but when I stepped into the garage, the door closed and it was locked. So I called a locksmith and since he didn't want to mess with the steel door, so he decided that he would tackle the wooden front door with a standard cheap lock. So he did his thig and the door wouldn't open. He asked me if he could drill it and I agreed. Well, he proceeded to drill, and drill and drill using progressively larger bits. Even he said he had never seen anything like that - that there was no eartly reason that door shoudn't open. he finally said that there was noting to be done but to remove the entire doorhandle, that provided hard, but we finally did it. There was no explanation, other than my uncle wasn't ready for anyone to enter that house.

Early in 2016, a close friend of mine died unexpectedly. He and I had had a fall out right before that and cut off contact. I didn't attend the funeral. One night, shortly after, I was going to sleep, he came to me and told me, "I always loved you, you know". The next night he reappeared to me and I told him "I thought this was forever" and he disappeared and has never re-appeared to me.

When I was 40, we had a French Secretary who had the gift for foresight. Funny thing was she talked to me about this man, with whom I had and off and on friendship. Among other things, she told me that there would be "something with my heart when I was 60. I never forgot that and every 5 years since I was 50, I have had a heart work up with no findings. I was 60 when the man above died and it broke my heart, since he had died with us estranged. Everything this woman told me came to pass. She was very specific.

Wow. Happy for you that you had these visits. These are the kinds of things that happen to people all of the time but are often times just shrugged off as silly coincidences. They're not.

One Thanksgiving. many years after my grandmother had passed, I was over at my mother's house. We just sat down to eat. All of a sudden we hear this thud in her bedroom. We go in and on the floor was this heavy two piece brass duck (she collected ducks of all kinds) and my grandmothers picture. The duck was holding my grandmother's picture frame up on the bookshelf. We said "Happy Thanksgiving Grandma. We love you".

Had to look up the definition before I weighed in.

"denoting events or phenomena such as telekinesis or clairvoyance that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding"

    No such thing,

I had a ghost in my old house. It was a prankster and liked to move things or walk up and down the stairs just to freak guests out. It was never mean or scary, just helpful. Once, my toddler spilled grape juice on the throw rug in my living room. In the time it took me to go get a rag and cleaner, the spill was cleaned up. Nothing on the rug, under the rug - just gone. I was a single parent and would wake to find my house had been cleaned. I either had a kind neighbor who quietly broke into my house and cleaned for me or the ghost was into cleanliness.

You know sleep walking is a thing too. Maybe you sleep cleaned?

Well, if that was the case, I am cured of my sleep cleaning affliction.

I saw on YouTube, in Africa I think. They slaughtered a goat then used it's head to drink from it. I think they poured gin inside.
