I was trying to lose weight the last few months but I'm so unmotivated! Going to try again in the new year and make it a healthy lifestyle change. I eat good healthy meals as i eat what i cook for my daughter, but I stress eat junk food and I'm stressed 90% of the time being a single mum to a 14 month old!

Has anyone else gone through this? How did you get past this horrible habit?

What is your reason for wanting to lose weight? That’s your motivation to get started, then the key is to establish good eating habits that support your goal. Like keeping lots of veggies around to snack on, instead of high cal low nutrient foods. You can’t stress eat on junk food if you don’t bring it home! Motivation gets you started, habit keeps you going.

I suggest you read up on the five second rule. Basically, if you wait to "feel" motivated and "feel" like doing something you obviously don't naturally want to do . You won't do it. ever. and Pushing it to "next year" is just you kidding yourself.
So.. ditch the idea of "feeling motivated"...and learn to make good decisions in five seconds.. meaning just do it within five seconds or. you will put it off and excuse inaction away. truth.
